solid lumps of softer and mobile kind especially in young girls/ women are mostly non-cancerous in nature. some may require surgical removal through small scars

solid lumps of hard fixed kind with or without skin redness and coarseness are mostly of cancerous kind. cancer diagnosis is done by FNAC or BIOPSY. treatment is individually planned by the surgeon for each patients no two patients can have the exact same treatment. it varies according to age, physical condition, stage and type of cancer of each patient

water or other fluid filled lumps called cysts are mostly non cancerous and can be treated medically

Fibroadenomas: are non cancerous fibre and fat lumps mostly seen in young girls . all do not need surgery.
