It is a procedure that uses a scope to see n he uterus and can be used to remove polyps or take samples from the endometrium.

D&C : this is a basic procedure done to obtain endometrial lining sample for biopsy and diagnosis. most preferred method in post menopausal women with bleeding. both D&C AND HYSTEROSCOPY are to be avoided if uterus shows a tumor or growth within its cavity

Mirena: It is a small device similar but slightly thicker than a COPPER-T. it is inserted as a hormonal treatment for swollen uterus and lining to stop heavy bleeding
